Our mission is to prevent homelessness by providing supportive services and/or temporary shelter to enable our clients to achieve independence.
Shenandoah Alliance for Shelter is a 501 (C)(3) tax exempt, non-profit organization. All donations are tax deductible to the full extent of the law, and acknowledged in writing to our donors.
SAS developed and operates a HelpLink system for Local Area Churches to encourage partnership and distribution of community assistance to residents in need as well as to prevent the duplication of financial assistance within Shenandoah County. In partnership with the Salvation Army, SAS administers a Utility Assistance Program for Shenandoah County for residents who have received a shut-off notice.
The Shenandoah Alliance for Shelter is part of the Western Continuum of Care VA-513.

ATTENTION: It is fundraiser time! We have partnered up with Captn's BBQ to bring you some delicious pulled pork. This is a pre-order only event. You can pick up your food on March 27th, 2021 between the hours of 11am and 2pm behind Friends of the North Fork, located at 305 West Court Street Woodstock, VA.

A plate is $10 and includes 1/3lb pulled pork, a cup of baked beans, a bag of Route 11 chips, a homemade cookie, 2oz cup of coleslaw, a 2oz cup of sauce and a bun to put it all on. Pork will be sold for $12/lb in limited qualities. Tickets will go fast so get your tickets today!!
