We would like to thank ​United Way of the Northern Shenandoah Valley ​for their grant.  Shenandoah Alliance for Shelter was a new program applicant in 2016. The grant program funded a Centralized Housing Intake Coordinator position to serve Clarke County, Frederick County, Shenandoah County and the City of Winchester completing assessments for the homeless and near homeless population and work to place them in homes. ​http://www.unitedwaynsv.org/making-impact-united-way-nsv-announces-2016-2017-impact-grant-awards

April 2016 Operations

​Homeless prevention & Financial Assistance:  11 households in April 2016 @ cost of $6692

Motel Vouchers/Shelter Operations:  

Single man 15 nights @ cost of $871

​Salvation Army Utility fund : 

22 households @ cost of $4498

Client needs such as cleaning/kitchen & bathroom items. These items are not able to be purchased with food stamps.
Plastic bucket, scrubbing brush, All purpose cleaner, toilet brush, toilet bowl cleaner, cleaning cloths.

You can drop it off at our office in Lawyer's Row or we could pick up if you need us to.
