Shenandoah Alliance for Shelter

Our mission is to prevent homelessness by providing supportive services and/or temporary shelter to enable our clients to achieve independence.

Shenandoah Alliance for Shelter is a 501 (C)(3) tax exempt, non-profit organization.  All donations are tax deductible to the full extent of the law, and acknowledged in writing to our donors.

SAS developed and operates a HelpLink system for Local Area Churches to encourage partnership and distribution of community assistance to residents in need as well as to prevent the duplication of financial assistance within Shenandoah County. In partnership with the Salvation Army, SAS administers a Utility Assistance Program for Shenandoah County for residents who have received a shut-off notice.
